Imogene Mae Tate, age 84, of Lizella, Georgia passed away January 17, 2023. There will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Open Bible Tabernacle with Pastor Tim South and Reverend Robby Kerr officiating. There will be a visitation from 1:00 pm until service time. Interment will be at Open Bible Tabernacle Cemetery.
Mrs. Tate was born in Harriman, TN to the late Bescom and Ethel Morris Edwards. She retired from Parsans Clothing Store after many years of faithful service. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
Left to cherish her memories are her husband, John W. Tate Jr.; grandchildren, Mandey Collins (Jeffrey), Jamie Killingsworth (David), Jason Conger; great grandchildren, Abby and Laura, Jackson and Jonah, Alyssa; and sibling, Garland Edwards (Gloria).
She is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Terrie Lynn Conger; siblings, Ernest Edwards, Clarence Edwards, Lloyd Edwards, and Lawrence Edwards
