Jack R. Henderson, 86, went to be with his Lord on February 18, 2018. A Celebration of his Life will be held on Thursday, February 22, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home with the Reverend Mark Fogarty officiating. The family will greet friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will be in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Henderson was born in Alabama to the late Dolphus and Ossie Henderson. He was preceded in death by his first wife of 51 years, Mabel Henderson, and son, Trent Henderson, and three brothers. He was a member of Apostolic Church of Warner Robins. Brother Henderson was retired from RAFB as an aircraft mechanic. “Paw Paw” had a deep faith in Jesus Christ and love for his family and church.
Mr. Henderson is survived by his wife, Betty Henderson; son, Mark (Kathy) Henderson, daughter, Ramona (Raymond) Wilder; grandchildren, Regina (Kurt) Thurmond, Kimberly and Tyler Henderson; great grandchildren, Raelynn and Holder Thurmond; sisters, Margaret Windham and Lillian Morris; brother, Willard Henderson and John Henderson.
