

Randall was born on September 28, 1940 in Vidalia, Georgia to Gladys Elliot Watson and Frank James Watson. He was the devoted husband of Sally Flynt Watson (deceased) for 61 years and a loving father to Susan Watson Coker and Alison Flynt Watson. He is survived by his two daughters, Susan and Alison, sister Patsy Bass, son-in-law Anthony Coker and grandsons, Carson and Watson Coker as well as nieces, nephews and extended family and friends in Georgia and North Carolina.
Randall grew up in Macon, Georgia and went on to earn an undergraduate degree from Mercer University followed by a Masters of Business Administration from Auburn University. His career took his family to various cities, including Chicago, IL, Philadelphia, PA, and Nashville, TN, where Randall became a partner in the investment banking firm J.C. Bradford & Company. Later career pursuits took Randall and Sally to Morris Plains, NJ, Atlanta, GA, Hawkinsville, GA, Greenville, SC and Charlotte, NC. Finally, Randall and Sally settled in the Lake Oconee area in Greensboro, GA.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Randall was known for his wide-ranging passions. He was deeply interested in politics and found joy in a good book, music and sports. A loyal fan, he rarely missed a chance to watch PGA golf tournaments, especially the Masters. He took pride in cheering on the Atlanta Braves and Auburn athletic teams. He was especially known for his eloquence and articulation of words, both written and spoken.

Interment will be at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery, with a celebration of life to be held at a future date.
