Janice Sutton Spires, 76, passed away on January 14, 2019. A Celebration of her life will be held on Thursday, January 17, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. The family will greet friends from 1:00 p.m. to service time. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Chris Minton officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lizella Baptist Church, 2950 S. Lizella Road, Lizella GA 31052.
Janice was born in Macon, Georgia to the late Charles and Hazel Shi Sutton. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Elex Spires, daughters, Kim Harrelson and Lynn Baggerley and son-in-law, Scott Ramsey. Janice was a member of Lizella Baptist Church and was retired from Macy’s Department Store. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She is survived by her children, Chuck (Melanie) Spires, Todd (Sharron) Spires, Lisa Spires Ramsey, son-in-law’s, Kenneth Harrelson, and Joel Baggerley, seven grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
