Janice was born in Syracuse, New York to the late William and Ruth Merritt. In high school she met the love of her life and together they raised five children. As the matriarch of the family, Janice enjoyed cooking and taking care of her family. They will especially miss her special fried chicken and peanut butter cookies. Janice also enjoyed spending time in her garden tending to and nurturing her flowers. She was especially proud of her roses. Janice was a loving and kind hearted woman who will truly be missed.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of almost 47 years, John Suffield; children, William Suffield, David (Amy) Suffield, Sandra Suffield, Heather (Phillip) ramseyer, Billy Suffield; grandchildren, Sadie Segler, Andrew Segler, Emma Daub, Abby Suffield, Daniel Suffield, Sydney Suffield; great-grandchildren, Remy and Alaya Daub; siblings, Laura (Wayne) Irving, Howard (Colleen) Merritt, Linda (Tom) McCullough; niece, Kristina Irving; nephew, Christopher (Katie) Irving; great-nephews, Wilbur and Cj Irving; great-niece, Maeve Irving.
