Jeanette Day Roach, 67, passed away on Monday, October 13, 2014 at her residence. A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, October 16, 2014 in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home at 2:00 pm with Patrick Cramer officiating. Burial will be private. The family will greet friends Wednesday, October 15, 2014 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Mrs. Roach was born in Macon, Georgia to Virginia Eisner Day and the late Robert Loy Day, Sr., and was preceded in death by her husband, James Clifford Roach, and brother, Robert Day, Jr. She was a member of the Methodist faith and was active in the Multiple Sclerosis Society and Alcoholics Anonymous. Mrs. Roach enjoyed crafts and was a collector of Hummingbirds.
Left to cherish her memory are her mother, Virginia Day; children, Skipper Jenkins, Deena (David) Becham, and Cheryl (Russell) Wimberly; 11 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; a niece; and a nephew.
