Jennifer Weaver, 30, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, October 11, 2015. A memorial service will be held at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church on Friday, November, 6, 2015 at 10:00am. Father Bill McIntyre will officiate. The family asks that those who wish, make memorial contributions to St. Peter Claver Catholic Church, 131 Ward Street, Macon, GA 31204 in Jennifer’s honor. Following the service, there will be a potluck lunch at the church in celebration of her life.
Jennifer was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, but grew up in the Palm Beach, Florida area before coming to Macon 14 years ago. She attended the Georgia Academy for the Blind and was taking courses through Hadley School for the Blind, lacking one class before being awarded her diploma. Jennifer loved crafting and music. Her favorite bands included the Beach Boys, and above all, the Beatles. She was a friend to everyone she met. Jennifer was a devoted member of St. Peter Claver Catholic Church for the past 14 years.
Surviving Jennifer are her parents, Cheryl and George Weaver; sisters, Mary Bonnie Weaver, a recent Westside High School graduate, and Laura Karen Bos; maternal grandfather, Harold Savoy; paternal grandparents, George and Ruth Weaver; aunts, Janet Savoy and Robin Weaver; uncles, Jim Weaver, Bruce Register and Bill Weaver; claimed grandparents, Larry and Judy Bunge; and a very large extended family.
