John “Toby” Lawson, 75, passed away on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 surrounded by his family. A Celebration of his Life will be held on Friday, March 16, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home with the Rev. Chris Minton and Dr. Neal Wall officiating. The family will greet friends on Thursday, March 15, 2018 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to Bellevue Baptist Church, 5925 Price Road, Macon GA 31220.
Toby was born in Albany, Georgia to the late Noel Harris and Mary Harrison Lawson. He was a member of Bellevue Baptist Church and was a Mason. Toby retired from Bell South as a computer analyst and formerly worked for Atlantic Southern and Certus Banks. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, and grandfather.
He is survived by his wife of forty six years, Sandra Griffin Lawson of Macon, daughter; Shannon (Tom) Dotsikas of Macon, son; Shane (Marybeth) Lawson of Gulf Breeze, beloved granddaughters; Ava Faith Dotsikas, Riley Elizabeth Lawson, Layla Grace Dotsikas, and Reese Noel Lawson.
