MACON — Kate Elizabeth “Liz” Harrington, 82, passed away Friday, April 27, 2012 at a local hospital. Funeral services
will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home with entombment in Macon Memorial
Park Mausoleum. The Rev.Hershel Sizemore and Pastor Dennis Harden will officiate. The family will greet friends
from 1 until service time on Sunday at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home.
Mrs. Harrington was born in Macon and was the daughter of the late John Carlton Stone, Sr. and Lucy Ione Hall Stone. She
was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church and the Living Waters Ladies’ Bible Study Group for many years. Mrs.
Harrington served as a member of the Board of Directors for Liberty Federal Bank for a number of years, and was a
partner to her husband in their antique and estate liquidation business for more than sixty years.
Mrs. Harrington is survived by her husband of 65 years, Curtis Lamar “Lucky” Harrington, Sr. of Byron; son, Curtis Lamar Harrington, Jr. and his wife, Ann of Long Beach, CA; daughter, Kathy Elise Harrington of Flowery Branch, GA; granddaughter, Veronica Ann Harrington-Myers of Los Angeles, CA; and very dear friend, Mike Spinks of Lizella.
