Katherine Stewart, 82, passed away on Friday, February 21, 2025. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery at 2:00 PM. The family will greet friends from 1:30 PM until service time at the gravesite.
Katherine was born in Monticello, Georgia to the late Estelle and Marvin Hawkins. She was a member of the VFW Ladies auxiliary .
Katherine was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-four years, James Tolbert Stewart Jr. and her daughter, Shirley Dianne Stewart.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Melinda Ann Gilbert (Ronnie); grandchildren, Zack and Wesley Gilbert, Kristen Onorio, and Brittney Rudder.
