Kay Lord Murray, 85, of Memphis, TN went to be with her Lord and Savior Wednesday, December 9, 2020. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home from 3 PM until 5 PM. For those attending, facial coverings and social distancing is required. A private service will be held at a later date.
Kay Lord Murray was born in Macon, GA. She was a member of Broadway Baptist Church in Southaven, MS and the Truth Seekers Sunday School Class. Kay loved working with her hands whether it was making crafts, sewing, or cooking for her family. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Kay is survived by her husband, Johnny Frank Murray of Memphis, TN; daughters, Rhonda Kay (Jerry) Conner of Pensacola, FL and Becky Leigh (Larry) Hamilton of Dallas, TX; granddaughters, Brittani Leigh Hamilton and Tiffani Michelle Hamilton of Dallas, TX, Courtney Kay Conner of Sacramento, CA; grandsons, Eric Murray Conner of Auburn, AL, Devin Earl Hamilton of Dallas, TX, Alan Martin Conner of Kansas City, MO and four great-grandchildren.
Kay was preceded in death by her parents, Exielu and Clyde Andrew Lord.
