Louise Ellis Thomas

Louise Ellis Thomas, 86, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, October 20, 2024. A celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Snow’s at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Entombment will be at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Garbriel Thomas and Rev. Joe Williams officiating. The family will greet friends from 1:00 p.m. to service time at the funeral home.

Louise was born in Macon, Georgia to the late Horace and Eva Ezelle Ellis. She was preceded in death by her husband, John R. Thomas, Jr. and was preceded in death by her siblings, J.W. Ellis, Emory Ellis and Lila Lavender. Louise was a member of Parkway Assembly of God and former member of Tabernacle Baptist Church. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt.

She is survived by her children, Randy (Donna) Rutland of Macon, Tony (JoAnne) Rutland of Juliette, Ricky (Elaine) Thomas of Juliette and Beverly Thomas of Eastman, grandchildren, Lance (Wendy) Trice, Joseph (Lynsey) Thomas, Gabriel (Morgan) Thomas, Katie (Dustin) Rushing, Jonathan Rutland, Josh Young, Kimberly (Nicholas) Membrillo, and Katelyn (Dylan) George, great-grandchildren, Landon Trice, Leah Trice, Eric Young, Marley Kate and Palmer Thomas, Morgan Rushing, Clara and Ivy Membrillo, Tucker and Carter George, and Amelia Thomas, numerous nieces and nephews.
