Margaret Raines Jarriel, 75, passed away on January 25, 2013 in a local hospital. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, January 28, 2013 at Lizella Baptist Church with the Rev. David Mosley and Rev. Shannon Back officiating. Interment will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. The Family will greet friends from 10:00 AM till service time at the church. Mrs. Jarriel was born in Forsyth to the late Mamie Ruth Scott Raines and George Thomas Raines, Jr. She was a member of Lizella Baptist Church, where she played the organ and piano for 28 years. Mrs. Jarriel retired from Jarriel Sheet Metal, where she worked as secretary. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, who was loved by everyone who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Annie Ruth Johnson and her grandson, Wade Jarriel.
Mrs. Jarriel is survived by her husband of 56 years: Herbert L. Jarriel of Macon; two sons: Steve Jarriel of Crawford County and Kelly (Robin) Jarriel of Macon; daughter: Stephanie (Eric) McCallum of Macon; Clint Jarriel, Lee Jarriel, Heath Jarriel, Kell Jarriel, Angel Jarriel, Jacob McCallum, and Stevie and Rayven Jarriel and 2 great-grandchildren; 1 brother: Tom (Gailya) Raines of Monroe, GA; sister: Mary Calhoun of Macon; several nieces and nephews.
