Margie L. Nobles, 82, devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, went to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on October 1, 2012 at the Hospice of the Bluegrass in Hazard, KY after a courageous battle with Alzheimer’s. Funeral services and a celebration of her life will be held on Friday, October 5, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Paul Melton officiating. The family will greet friends on Thursday, October 4, 2012 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home.
Mrs. Nobles was retired from Toms Foods in Macon after many years of dedicated service. Mrs. Nobles was preceded in death by her loving husband of 52 years, Jack L. Nobles and son-in-law, John Leon Carter, four sisters and three brothers.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, three daughters, Celia Carter, Sylvia (Harvey) Dover both of Macon, Marla (Thomas) Pearman of Hazard, KY, eight grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild, brothers, Bobby (Wynell) Oliver of Macon, Buddy (Valeria) Oliver of Bonifay, FL.
