MACON – Marguerite G. Busbee, 85, entered into rest on Sunday, March 11, 2012. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home with burial in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will meet friends from 6 – 8 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Busbee was born in Macon on October 27, 1926 to the late Clyde and Nettie Arnold Gentry. She graduated from Miller High School and worked at Kinney Shoes for forty years. Mrs. Busbee was a member of Pine Forest Baptist Church and was also associated with Porterfield Baptist Church where she was a member of the Leisure Club. Throughout her life, Marguerite lived, taught and exemplified unconditional love for her family and enjoyed cooking Sunday dinner for them every week.
She is survived by her husband of fifty-seven years, Clement Busbee; son, Keith (Julie) Busbee; daughter, Cheryl (Jamie) Lee; granddaughter, Breana Lee; grandson, Colby Lee, all of Macon; brothers, Wilbur Gentry of Lizella and Herschel Gentry of Roberta; several nieces and nephews.
