Marianne Hill Clark

Marianne Hill Clark, 97, passed away on Friday, May 15, 2026. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Snow’s @ Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Brad Blackmon officiating. The family will greet friends from 10:00 a.m. to service time at the funeral home. Flowers are accepted or donations may be made to F.A.T. Ministries at P.O. Box 297, Bolingbroke GA 31004.

Marianne was born in Macon, Georgia to the late James Andrew and Ella Louise Penny Hill. She was preceded in death by her husband of seventy-four years, Mackey Lamar “ML” Clark, Jr. and her siblings, Ruth Hill Pearce, James Andrew Hill, Thomas Oliver Hill, Charles Hill, Robert Clark Hill and Virginia Rose Simmons. She was a graduate of Miller High School class of 1948 and was a member of Gray Methodist Church. Marianne retired from Hughes Supply Company, and she enjoyed playing tennis with the Macon Tennis Association until her mid 70’s. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her children, Alethea (Dennis) Cook, Ashley Clark (Gail), and Becky Kerner; grandchildren, Christopher (Kelly) Tillery and Beth (Robert) Greene; and great-grandchildren, Abby Tillery and Sarah Greene. She will also be missed by the Rinauro and Cook families.
