Marjorie B. Samuel

Marjorie B. Samuel, 88, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, May 19, 2021. A Celebration of Her Life will be held on Friday, May 21, 2021 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park. The family will greet friends from 1:00 PM until service time. Dr. Morgan Kerr will be officiating. Her great grandsons will serve as her pallbearers. Mrs. Samuel was born in Sandersville, Georgia, the daughter of the late Grady Bedgood and Ruby Holland. She was a retired accountant and tax preparer. She was also a faithful member of Pine Forest Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for over 20 years. She was a member of the Ruth Friendship Sunday School class.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Samuel and her brothers, Gene Bedgood and Fred Holland.

Mrs. Samuel is survived by her children, Rickey NeSmith (Rusty) of Macon, Georgia, Cynthia Tanton (Danny) of Jacksonville, Florida, Charlotte Hutchinson (Bobby) of Centerville, Georgia, Connie Paul (Randy) of Byron, Georgia and Julie Samuel of Macon, Georgia; grandchildren, Rickey NeSmith Jr., Brad NeSmith, Tonya NeSmith, Damon Tanton (Iris), Darla Birdwell (Matt), Crystal Frank (Fred), Derrick Jackson (Amber) and Chris Paul. She is also survived by 17 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
