

Martha M. Bell, 90, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, February 2, 2021. A Celebration of Her Life will be held on Friday, February 5, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Foster Bell and Rev. Steve Smith officiating. The family will greet friends from Noon until service time at the funeral home. Face mask and social distancing are required to be in attendance. Martha was born in Monroe County, Georgia to the late George Bailey and Roxie Helton Moncrief. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Albert Bell; sister, Eva Cline; and brother, Franklin Moncrief. Martha was a member of Avondale Baptist Church. She was a member of the Eastern Star, Daughters of the Nile, and was First Lady of the Shrine. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, sister and aunt.
She is survived by her children, Sheila (Foster) Bell of Dalton, Johnny (Sharon) Bell of Byron, Mike (Teresa) Bell of Macon and Mark Bell of Macon; grandchildren, Sloane Blackstock, Eric Roberts, Amber Purvis, Travis Bell, Courtney Lose, Marlesa Brown, Mark “Marcus” Bell Jr.; numerous great grands and great great grands; and several nieces and nephews.
