LIZELLA – Jeanette Dougherty, 78, passed away Thursday, April 05, 2012 at her residence. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, April 7, 2012 at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with Father Michael Kavanaugh officiating. The family may be contacted at the residence. While flowers are accepted, those who wish may make memorial contributions to Hospice Care Options, 1125 Walnut Street, Macon 31201.
Ms. Dougherty, daughter of the late Emmette DeCalve Dougherty and Ollie Reid Lemon Dougherty, was born in Butler and had lived in this area all her life. She was the owner of Holley Lake Day Care Center which later became Nettes Nest. Ms. Dougherty was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church.
Survivors include her beloved family, Debra (Bud) Bowen, Leslie (Wayne) Scarbary, Julie (Joey) Kinard, Edward “Eddie” Moskaly, all of Lizella and Thomas (Sallie) Moskaly of Macon; her grandchildren, Scottie Seymour, Kalee Bowen, Bryan Scarbary, Derek Scarbary, Justin Kinard, Jennifer Kinard, Eddie Moskaly and Christopher Moskaly.
