Martha Tuck Marshall, went home to be with her Lord Thursday, December 20, 2012. Graveside Services will be held Sunday, December 23, 2012 at 2P.M. at Macon Memorial Park with the Reverend John Prettyman officiating. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Marshall was born in Griffin, GA and later moved to Macon, GA where she worked at Sears and Newberrys. She was a member of Central Fellowship Baptist Church and the Forever Young Sunday School class. Mrs. Marshall was most comfortable sitting at a piano and could often be found playing at church, for her Sunday School class at Eastview or other social events. Mrs. Marshall was preceded in death by her husband Louis Carlton Marshall; Mother, Minnie Lou Ross Tuck; and Father, Robert Tuck. Mrs. Marshall’s mother passed away shortly after her birth and her maternal grandparents, John T. Ross and Maud Buchanan Ross, raised Martha.
Mrs. Marshall went peacefully in her sleep to meet her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We wish to thank the staff of Eastview Nursing Center and the staff of United Hospice for their wonderful care of Mrs. Marshall.
