Mary Edna Cobb passed away May 12, 2012 in a local assisted living facility. Funeral services will be held 11A.M. Tuesday, May 15, 2012 in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. Pastor Ed Chambliss will be officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral at the funeral home.
Mrs. Cobb was born in Rochelle, GA to the late John Smith McGlammory and Suzie Jane Fitzgerald. She is preceded in death by her husband Robert L. Cobb. Mrs. Cobb was also a member of Mikado Baptist Church where she was a member of the Glowing Years Senior Fellowship.
Survivors include her children, Jimmy Howard Jones of Macon, Robert Lee Cobb, Jr. of Macon, and Bobbie (Robert) Parker of Macon; grandchildren, Melissa Palmer of Ireland, Meredith Evans of Byron, and Dessaray Whitsel of Macon; great grandchildren, Parker Vaughan Evans, John McIntyre Palmer, Jesse Palmer, Luke Cobb Palmer, and Callie Grace Palmer.
