Mary Esther Hart, 79, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, August 1, 2012. A celebration of life and graveside service will be held on Friday, August 3, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Randall Mimbs officiating. The family will greet friends on Thursday, August 2, 2012 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home.
Mrs. Hart was born in Marietta, Georgia to the late Hughland and Mary Emily Plunkett. She was retired from the Medical Center of Central Georgia as a switchboard operator. Mrs. Hart was a member of the Glad Tiding Tabernacle and played the piano and she was a member of the gospel duet “The Heart Warmers” with her husband, Charles Hart. She was a God fearing Christian who loved to serve the Lord.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Hart of Macon, her three daughters, Rene Carden of Macon, Angie (Jody) Petty of Bryon, Cindy (Chris) Stephens of Macon, son, Tony Zeagler of South Carolina, two step-daughters, Dawn Hart of Gray and Cathy Hart of Gray, sixteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
