Mary D. Pine, 81, of Macon, GA, passed away at home on April 19, 2026 surrounded by her family. Mary was born on March 28, 1945 in Philadelphia Pa, to Lawrence and Julia (McMahon) Donohue. Mary was proceeded in death by her parents and siblings, the final member of her generation, closing a cherished chapter of the Donohue family.
Mary raised her family in Bucks County, PA. She was well known for living in the purple house on Maple Avenue. Mary had a love for books and reading throughout her life. She loved Florida and living close to the water. Mary cherished holidays and celebrating with her friends and family. She was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan. She was known for her quick mind and impressive ability to answer Jeopardy questions from her living room. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
Mary is survived by her children: Dave (Kathy), Don (Cathy), Derrick (Heather - deceased), Doug (Laurie), Dan (Bonnie – deceased), Julia Pruitt (Pat), Sharon (Hatim Sabaawy), and Janice Slavin (Mike), 18 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. She was preceded
in death by her husband, Thomas G. Pine.
Mass and burial will be held at a future time in Pennsylvania.
