Melinda B. Blount, 75, passed away on Tuesday, May 31, 2016. A Celebration of her life will be held on Friday, June 3, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will be at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens with Pastor Billy Sharpston officiating. The family will greet friends on Thursday, June 2, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Macon Memorial Park.
Melinda was born in Macon, Georgia to the late Paul and Doris Williams Bryant. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Blount. She was retired from Robins Air Force Base and was a member of White Oaks Freewill Baptist Church. She was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother and aunt.
She is survived by her two sons; Bobby (Michelle) Blount of Macon, James L. Blount of Lake Balboa, CA, three grandchildren; Nicholas, Elisabeth and Logan, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
