So very sorry to hear of your loss. The Dairy Queen in Macon are not the same. I could not pass the one on Gray Hwy without stopping in for a treat when Mildred was the owner. Her son on Log Cabin has carried her legacy and I often stop in when I need to remember a time when food service was really good. Rest in peace. I hope you have lots of good treats in Heaven. 🍦🍦🍦

To the family sorry for your loss...praying for your strength.  Mrs. Mildred gave me and my sister our very first job we worked at the Dairy Queen on Gray Highway.  She was such a joy and inspiration to work for. 

Miss Mildred was the sweetest & most caring woman I ever met.  She always had kind things to say and was very supportive of my husband & I.   She will be missed so much by our church family.    She will make a beautiful angel in the kingdom of heaven.   May GOD bless and keep her family during this time of sorrow and help them remember all the wonderful memories she left them.  Lynn

My sincere condolences on the loss of your sweet mama. Many of my childhood memories took place at your home in Greenbriar where I was treated as a member of the family. Your mom was a special treasure and meant a lot to so many. You are all in my deepest thoughts and prayers.

As the mother of one of my closest friends, Gregg Fitzgibbons, I was privileged to have known this amazing lady. She was a generous loving mother who worked tirelessly to support and provide for her family. A successful business owner, Mildred was able to balance her franchise responsibilities with the ever challenging duties of raising her kids and grandchildren. She made you feel special about yourself and was always willing to help anyone in need. Her memories will live eternally in the lives of those who knew her and her legacy will forever continue to shape our lives in the years ahead.  This was a life well lived. Rest peacefully Mildred. We love you!

I loved the picture. She was my second mother and will miss her forever just like I miss my mother Mimi, her sister. I thank God everyday she was with me closely since my mother died. I pray to love the Lord like she did. Love to all my cousins. How proud you should be to have had her. ❤️
