Born in Ludowici, GA on August 12, 1924, she had lived in Macon for many years before moving to Patterson in 1998.
Mrs. Fountain was a daughter of the late Reppard William Davis and Alma Hires Davis. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Randolph Fountain. Mrs. Fountain was a homemaker and was a member of the Patterson Baptist Church.
Survivors include her children and their spouses, James William “Jimmy” & Saralyn Fountain of Milner, GA, Larry Davis & Judye Fountain of Gray, GA, and Judy & Herbie Byrd of Patterson; four grandchildren, Trellis Fountain, Bert (Callie) Byrd, Josh Fountain, and Randi Fountain; two great grandchildren, Davis Byrd and Alice Byrd; a sister, Agnes D. Callahan of Blackshear; and several nieces, nephews & other relatives.
Funeral services for Mrs. Fountain will be held Friday, October 24, 2014, at 1:00 o’clock from the Chapel at Macon Memorial Park in Macon, GA. Visitation for Mrs. Fountain will be held at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in the Macon Memorial Park Cemetery.
