Nannette Walker Ard, 81, of Lake Sinclair, GA went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 14, 2015 at a local hospital. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday in the Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel with Marvin Bittinger officiating. Burial will follow at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, please “Pay it Forward” to someone in need, in memory of Mrs. Ard.
Mrs. Ard was born in Dublin, GA to the late Henry Frank Walker and Lula Paul Walker and was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, Jack Ard. She was employed with Keebler for over 33 years. She enjoyed taking care of her family and loved her retirement for over 28 years. Mrs. Ard was a member of Friendship Baptist Church at Lake Sinclair.
Many family members are left to cherish her memory including, Pete (Glenda) Ard, Brenda (Marvin) Bittinger, Lynda (Jimmy) Darrah, Maria (Johnny) Waters and Marsha (Kenny) Waddle.
