

Pat was a devoted homemaker and loving wife who supported her husband throughout his 45 years of service to the city of Macon as a City Councilman and Commissioner. She attended A.L. Miller High School in Macon, Georgia. Pat retired from JCPenney after 27 years as an office manager. A faithful believer, she served the Lord through The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Her greatest joy was her family, and she lovingly preserved their memories through years of scrapbooking and genealogy research.
Pat is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Robin Cherie DeFore; granddaughter, April Cherie Elliott; sisters, Ann Rich and Fay Burgamy; and brother, W. Leo Wright Jr.
Left to honor her memory is the love of her life of 75 years, Ed DeFore Sr.; her children, Ed DeFore Jr. (Kay) and Natalie DeFore (Stacy); her grandchildren, Ed McKinnon III (Cindy), Matt DeFore (Shaye), Christen Elliott, Jimmy DeFore (Lisa), Leah DeFore Rucker, Richie Elliott (Carrie), and Amber Upshaw Olin.
She was blessed with ten beautiful great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; along with her loving cousins Jim and Carol Landreau, several nieces and nephews, and her faithful friend, Sylvia Hallman.
