Pat Waldrip Sellers, 70, passed away peacefully at home on December 20, 2025, following a long battle with COPD. The family will greet friends during a visitation on Monday, December 29, 2025 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Snow's @ Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home.
Pat was born in Warner Robins, Georgia, on March 21, 1955. She grew up in Byron and attended Peach County High School where she graduated in 1973. She worked for years at The Tumpane Company, then at The Bibb Company before finishing her working career with the family business, Sellers Plumbing. She was loved and appreciated by the customers that she dealt with daily. Many of those customers became good friends.
Pat was a beloved wife, “ma”, sister and Granny who loved her family and friends with her whole heart! Throughout years of health struggles, her family stood faithfully by her side, keeping her spirits lifted with laughter and plenty of fun. Although she was no longer able to get out as she once did, Pat found great joy in watching her grandchildren grow and celebrating their many accomplishments. Her home reflected the love she had for them…filled with family photos, children’s artwork and the beautiful pottery made by her grandson, Ben.
Pat was well known for her amazing cooking. While she deeply missed being able to spend time in the kitchen during her later years, she continued to share her passion by collecting recipes and teaching Kelly to cook from her chair.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Ricky; her children Shannon (Danielle), Kelly (Evan) and Kara (Kyle); grandchildren Kody, Jase, Makayla (Cass), Ben and Callie; brother Mike Waldrip (Pat); sisters Jeanie Smith and Kay Howell (Glenn); and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents Klon and Betty Waldrip, her sister, Kathy Smallwood and brother-in-law, Dave Smith. The family would like to thank Family Hospice for their brief, but extraordinary care and compassion.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Ronald McDonald House, 1160 Forsyth Street, Macon, Georgia 31201 or a charity of your choice.
