Rhonda Michelle Hester Embry, 44, passed away Sunday, November 18, 2012. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Ronnie Hollis, Jr. officiating. The family will meet friends from 6 – 8 p.m., Tuesday at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home.
Ms. Embry, a lifelong resident of Macon, was a 1985 graduate of Briarwood Academy. She was preceded in death by her father, Roy Hester, her maternal grandparents, John and Mary Hall and her paternal grandparents, John and Lucille Hester. Ms. Embry had formerly worked at Direct General Insurance and was a member of Evangelistic House of Prayer. She was a devoted homemaker, daughter, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt.
Survivors include those she loved most, her mother, Margaret Hall Hester of Macon; her daughter, Tiffany Embry (Waylon) Simpson of Gordon; her son, Nathan Marshpund of Macon; her brothers, Terry Hester of Dublin and Kenneth (Bonnie) Hester of Eatonton; her sister, Vickie Dever of Louisville, KY; her grandchildren, Taylor and Levi Simpson of Gordon; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
