Robert M. Brennaman, Sr., 74, fulfilled God’s word “absent from the body present with the Lord” on May 22, 2014. He was a native of Virginia, but spent most of his adult life in Georgia. Mr. Brennaman retired from CSX Transportation in 2002, after 40 years of hard work – with one thought in mind, always providing for his family.
Mr. Brennaman was a devoted, loving, faithful Christian husband and father – always putting family before himself.
Mr. Brennaman is survived by his wife of 51 years, Shirley Brennaman; daughter, Lisa Duckworth of Savannah; son, Robert Brennaman, Jr. of Mt. Pleasant, SC; son, Mark Brennaman of Gray; daughter, Rachel Stokey of California City, CA; 8 grandchildren.
A Celebration of his life will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, May 24, 2014 in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery.
