Stephen Craig “Cowboy” Etheredge, 56, passed away Monday, January 18, 2016. A celebration of his life will be held Saturday, January 23, 2016 at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. The family will greet friends an hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Steve was born in Macon, Georgia to Virginia Lively Etheredge and the late John Wesley Etheredge, Sr. He was preceded in death by his sister, Kathy Adams and “brother”, Big Dale Watkins. Steve enjoyed his Harley, his girls and his friends.
In addition to his mother, survivors include his daughters, Somer Etheredge and Tara Newcomb; granddaughter, Devin Perdue; siblings, Wayne Etheredge, Warren Etheredge, John (Jamorn) Etheredge and Karen (Robert) Nunnally; several nieces and nephews; and granddog, Whiskey.
