Susan Lea Gall Halligan

Susan Lea Gall Halligan, age 73, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday evening June 4, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2025 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home located at 3969 Mercer University Dr., Macon, GA 31204. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, June 8, 2025 at 3:00 pm at Victory Baptist Church located at 5687 Houston Road, Macon, GA 31216 with Pastor Kenny Hamm officiating. Burial to follow in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery at 3969 Mercer University Dr.

Susan was born on March 21, 1952 to the late Ed and Ossa Gall. She worked many years of her life in the retail business. She worked her earlier retail years at Zayre that was located on Eisenhower Parkway in Macon, GA. She then went on to work at Walmart when it opened in 1987 on Pio Nono Avenue in Macon, GA. She continued to work for Walmart after the store on Pio Nono Ave. closed to make way for the new store on Harrison Road in Macon, GA. She worked for Walmart for many years before she retired.

Susan is survived by her children Toby (Lester) Miller, Charles (Amy) Halligan, Kevin Halligan (Jenifer Morgan), and Jennifer (Craig) Harrell. She is also survived by her five grandchildren, Tyler Miller, Kaleb Halligan, Landon Miller, James Jordan, Jakala Jordan; great grandchild, Sawyer Halligan; and her sister, Rose Favro.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Charles Levy Halligan Jr.; parents, Ed and Ossa Gall; sister, Wanda Gall Leslie; brothers, Nicky Gall, Danny Gall; and her grandson, William Charles Miller.

Susan was a good wife for over 47 years. She loved her husband dearly and missed him so much after his passing all the way up until her passing on Wednesday evening. She was also a good mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. We are so thankful for all of the wonderful memories that we made with her. She will be missed so very very much until we are reunited with her in Heaven.
