Tammie Sapp Butler, 53, passed away Sunday, March 24, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. Rev. Hershel Sizemore will officiate. The family will greet friends from 7 until 9 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Tammie was born in Ft. Payne, Alabama and was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church. She was the daughter of the late Shirley Pickett Pierce and James Leroy Pierce.
Tammie is survived by her husband, Thomas E. Butler of Lizella; daughter & son-in-law, Belinda and Chad Mathis of Brunswick; grandchildren, Taylor, Amber, and Ashton; son, Michael Sapp, Jr. of Warner Robins; grandson, Michael Sapp, III; daughter, Michelle Sapp; granddaughters, Emily and Ashley; sons, Thomas “Ty” E. Butler, Jr. and his wife, Shelle; sisters, Patricia Upshaw, Sharon Pierce, and Donna Pierce; brothers, James Pierce and David Pierce.
