A Memorial Service will be held privately for family only at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Father Scott Winchell will officiate. Burial will be in Snow Ridge Cemetery in Ashburn, Georgia. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the donor's favorite charity.
Mr. Barfield was born in Macon, Georgia the son of the late Johanna Reichert Barfield and Benjamin F. Barfield, Jr. and was preceded in death by a sister, Judy JoAnn Barfield. He was in retail sales and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Mr. Barfield was a graduate of Mt. De Sales Academy and Macon Junior College.
Mr. Barfield is survived by his brothers, Benjamin F. Barfield, III of Macon, Robert Andrew Barfield (Maria) of Macon and Samuel Richard Barfield (Brenda) of Warner Robins; several nieces & nephews; 2 great-nephews.
