Walter Earl Register, 84 of Byron, Georgia passed away Tuesday, December 30, 2025. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 3, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Snows at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Entombment will follow in the Macon Memorial Park Mausoleum. Pastor Paul Dziadul will officiate. Family will have time of visitation following the service in the funeral home.
Born in Chester, Georgia, he was the son of the late Willie Alton Register, Sr. and Nellie Coleman Register. He was a retired truck driver with Yellow Freight, and avid Georgia Bulldog fan. Mr. Register was preceded in death by a brother, Willie Register and a sister, Kathryn Overturf and was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather and brother.
He was survived by his children, Tim Register (Wendy). Joy Powers, and Josh Register (Liz); Grandchildren, Derek Register, Jason Doetsch, Haleigh Powers, Ethan Register, and Zed Register. Three great grandchildren, Sister, Elizabeth Remick (Fred).
