Glenn William Peters, 64, of Madison Heights passed away Saturday, December 1, 2018 at his residence. He is survived by his wife, Sterling Faulconer Peters.
Born in Lynchburg, December 14, 1953, he was the son of William Watts Peters of Madison Heights and the late Phyllis Ashwell Peters. He was a retired self-employed building contractor and was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children, Jennifer L. Peters of Monroe, Blair P. Payne and her husband Brandon of Amherst and Glenn William Peters, Jr. and his wife Charity of Madison Heights; two sisters, Barbara Clements and Brenda Hunt both of Madison Heights; two brothers, Ronnie Peters of Madison Heights and Donnie Peters of Amherst and six grandchildren.
A memorial service celebrating his life will be conducted at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at Whitten Monelison Chapel with Pastor Bradley Mullinax officiating. The family will receive friends following the service until 8:00 p.m.
Those wishing to make memorial contributions are asked to consider the Monelison Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad.
