

She was born in Marblehead March 9, 1927, daughter of the late Harold and Hazel (Adams) Hall, predeceased by her husband Frank M. in 1992.
Doris retired from the National Grand Bank in 1989 after twenty-seven years of service. Prior to working at the bank, she co-owned Bar-Do Hand Smocked Dresses with Barbara Taylor. She enjoyed travelling and her summer home in Alfred, Maine.
She was very active in Marblehead’s Senior Center and the Dodge Fund, as well as several bowling leagues, bridge club, mah jongg, bocce, bingo, casinos, and Thursday Night Cards. She loved attending her grandchildren’s various activities and was an avid Red Sox fan. She looked forward to the annual 4th of July cookout and fireworks.
Doris was predeceased by her brother Harold Hall. She is survived by her best friend and sister Trudy MacKenzie; three children: Susan Lazaris and husband William, Janet Tudal and husband Steven, Glenn Stacey and wife Nancy; eight grandchildren: Kristina, Billy, Danielle Merrill and husband Mike, Tracy Gilman and husband Patrick, Steve Tudal and wife Shannon, Ashley, Heather Herrera and husband Vincent, Matthew; and ten great-grandchildren.
A Funeral Service will be held at the Old North Church, 35 Washington Street, Marblehead on Thursday, March 31 at 10AM. Burial to follow in Waterside Cemetery, Marblehead. All are welcome. Visiting hours will be held at the Eustis and Cornell Funeral Home, 142 Elm Street, Marblehead on Wednesday, March 30 from 4-8PM.
