MARBLEHEAD - Jonathan Beaumont Whipple, 64, of Fairfield IA, formerly of Marblehead, died November 17th after a brief illness. Growing up in Marblehead, he was the son of the late James B. Whipple and the late Florence C Whipple. He is survived by a sister, Judith W Leef , a niece, Jendaya R. O’Grady, cousins, Charles W. Corkum, John E.Whipple, Jeremy A. Whipple and Elizabeth Solano. He was preceded in death by his cousin, James F. Whipple.
Jonathan attended Maharishi International University in Fairfield, IA and continued to make Fairfield his home. He worked at The Raj Health Center where he was the assistant manager of the men’s Ayurvedic treatment area, but wore many other hats as well.
Jonathan made friends with everyone he met. He was committed in his friendships and gave generously of himself. He showed his love by doing for and being there. He was a kind and gentle man, deeply loved by many.
