Mary J. Hebert, 86, of Marblehead, passed away at the Lafayette on Thursday, May 20, 2010. Born May 16, 1924 in Newport, Vermont, she was the daughter of the late Alexander C. and Blanche (Doyon) Hebert.
Mary graduated from Quincy High School and attended the GE Engineering School in Lynn studying design drafting. She retired from GE after forty plus years. During her career, she received several awards including the Top Draftsman of the Year Award.
Mary enjoyed many hobbies. She will be greatly missed.
Mary is survived by her twin brother, Alex Hebert of CA; two sisters, Margaret Gideon and her husband Kenneth of CA, and Anita Iglesias and her husband Fred of RI; and a long time companion and best friend, Madeleine Martin of Marblehead. She also leaves many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mary will be private. Arrangements by the Eustis and Cornell Funeral Home, Marblehead.
