She was preceded in death by her husband, Vincent, and is survived by her sister, Ann and her husband, John, of Bristol, RI, daughters, Ren and her husband, Roc, of Reading and Terry and her husband, John, of Ipswich and her son, Tedd, of Marblehead, as well as 3 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
A friend of all animals, big and small, she will be especially missed by her dog, Chopper. Shirley lived in Marblehead for over 70 years and loved the ocean, sailing, and tennis. A very talented artist, she left a legacy of artwork, crafts, and textiles.
A private celebration of Shirley's life will be held in the Spring. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Shirley’s name to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America. Arrangements by Eustis and Cornell of Marblehead.
