Sophia (Dotchenko) Collins, of Marblehead, MA, originally of Everett, MA, passed away peacefully on April 22, 2015 surrounded by her loved ones. She was an avid sports fan, but nothing meant more to her than her family and beloved dogs, Max, Petey and Albert. Sophia was preceded in death by her parents, Conrad and Sophia Dotchenko, her husband, Edward H. Collins, and daughter Victoria Collins. She is survived by her daughter Stephanie Collins and husband John Rikala of Payson, AZ, son Edward Collins and wife Linda Rice Collins of Marblehead, MA, daughter Caroline Nye and husband Rick of Salem, MA and son Brett Collins and wife Minora of Marblehead, MA. She is also survived by her three grandchildren, Colin Nye, Sean Collins and Jed Collins. The family would like to thank the thoughtful staff at Grosvenor Park and Care Dimensions for their care and support. Burial and ceremony will be private.
