He was born March 20, 1929 in Oswegatchie, New York to William and Mary (Beebe) Bailey. On December 24, 1976 he married Mattie Jo (Ray) Davis in Marengo.
Chuck worked for Aubrey Manufacturing as a truck driver for many years. He enjoyed crosswords and playing all sorts of music, especially the organ. Most important to Chuck was his belief in the Lord. He would witness to anyone about Jesus that would listen.
He is survived by his wife, Mattie Jo; his children, Denise Steurer, Julie Davis, Jackie Allison, Paula Kostman, Brad Bailey, and Kristy Lunceford; and three siblings.
He was preceded in death by his parents, seven siblings, and one daughter.
A memorial service will be at 10:30am on Saturday, April 4 at Victory Rock Church, 20503 W. Telegraph St., Marengo.
