Clayton "Bud" C. Hewitt

Bud farmed and also was employed at Arnold Engineering for 33 years. He married Charlotte Davis in Marengo on October 2, 1976.

He was preceded in death by parents, his wife, Charlotte and step-son, Tom Davis and 6 brothers: Lester, LaVere, Leon, Carlyle, Robert, Ellwyn and 2 sisters: Mable and Neva.

He is survived by his step-grandson, Brian Davis and daughter-in-law, Lyn Davis, sister-in-law Doloris Wolf and numerous nieces and nephews.

Bud was a proud life-time resident of Marengo and he knew everyone and everything about his town.

Meeting directly at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Marengo, for Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at 11am, due to current circumstances a maximum of 50 people will be allowed during Mass and face coverings will be required. Burial to follow at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.
