He was born January 9, 1960 in Elgin to Ralph and Calantha (Gavanus) Skytte.
David worked at Wisted’s in Marengo for a few years. He also enjoyed fishing with his son, Tyler.
He is survived by Estella; his son, Tyler; his mother, Calantha; his siblings, Evan (Laura) Skytte, Edward (Kristie) Skytte, and Ilene Reimann; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ralph.
Visitation will be from 9:30am to the 10:30am funeral Mass on Friday, April 27, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 323 N. Taylor St., Marengo.
Interment will be private.
