George Otto Pepke

George Pepke, 89, of Marengo, Illinois passed away on Wednesday, July 27, 2022. George was born April 3, 1933 to the late Emil and Sophia Pepke. He married his wife Lorraine on February 11, 1961 and the couple had four children. Before retiring, he worked at Chrysler for 25 years.

George is survived by his wife; sons Robert (Sharon) Pepke and Richard (Darlene) Pepke; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; son-in-laws' Dave and Bryan; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his daughters Sharon Orr and Shirley Pepke.

A visitation for George will be held Monday, August 8, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Marengo-Union Funeral Home, 505 E Grant Hwy, Marengo, Illinois 60152. A funeral service will occur Monday, August 8, 2022 at 12:00 PM, 505 E Grant Hwy, Marengo, Illinois 60152. A burial will occur Monday, August 8, 2022 at Marengo City Cemetery.
