Gerald Robert Koplin, 81, of Marengo, Illinois, passed away on July 12, 2022. Gerald was born on March 1, 1941. He married his late wife Linda Koplin and began a career in the automotive industry for Chrysler. In his free time he enjoyed watching the Chicago Cubs and spending time with his pets.
Gerald is survived by his children Gary Koplin, David Gallardo, Ryan (Lisa) Koplin and Michael (Amy) Gallardo; grandchildren Gage Olson, Cody Koplin, Ally Gallardo, Austin Gallardo, Ana Gallardo, Chris Gallardo, Nick Gallardo, Jacob Gallardo, and Trinity Gallardo; great-grandchild Ziggy Gallardo; and his siblings Lucille, Shirley, Bud, Don, Betty, Dennis and Bob.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
