She was born December 27, 1951 in Blackduck, Minnesota to Alvern and Marian (Beitel) Maish.
Jackie’s life was devoted to the people around her. Her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were always her reason for everything. Jackie loved visiting with friends and family, especially if it involved pinochle. An avid Chicago Cubs and Minnesota Vikings fan, she could always tell you the results of the game. In addition to cards, Jackie enjoyed gardening, gambling and following her grandkids’ sports. She especially enjoyed softball, or as she liked to refer to it “baseball.” Jackie’s kindheartedness and outgoing personality has left an impression on everyone she met.
She is survived by her children, Tina (Mark Scharrenberg) Magnetta of Crystal Lake, Melissa Ritter of Marengo, Jeremy (Aimee) Ritter of Marengo; her grandchildren, Steven (Jessica Stevens) Magnetta of Grayslake, Lauren (Kody) Lewis of Oconomowoc, WI, Josh (Jillian) Mack of Lake in the Hills, Gracie and Sadie Scharrenberg of Crystal Lake, Kurt (Paige Boedewig) McMackin of Belvidere, Hannah, Jacob, Bryce, and Blake Ritter, all of Marengo; great-grandchildren, Haylen, Harper, and Henry Lewis, Austin Mack, and (on the way) Braxton McMackin; her siblings, Sandy Petersen of Elkhorn, WI and Greg Maish of Marengo; and her special life long friend, Marcia Harper.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Dennis and Steve.
