

Kirsten Harmon, a generous and kind-hearted soul, passed away on December 29, 2025, at the age of 60. Born on November 30, 1965, Kirsten's life was a testament to her unwavering faith and love for others.
Kirsten spent her early years in Chicago, where she and her family would make summer trips to visit relatives in Winfield, Indiana. During her high school years, the family moved to St. Charles, IL, where she continued to grow and thrive.
Her career was marked by her dedication and pride in her work at the Walmart Deli, where she remained until her passing. Kirsten was deeply proud of her team and the work they accomplished together.
A devout lover of the Lord, Kirsten found joy in attending church and collecting various works about the word of God. Her passion for cooking was evident, especially when preparing meals for friends and family. She was baptized at Bethel Church in St. Charles, where she was an active member of the youth group, participating in activities such as roller skating outings and trips to Oklahoma for worship.
Kirsten's personal qualities left a lasting impact on everyone she met. She was a free, loving spirit with a bright smile and a soft-spoken demeanor. Known for her generosity, she was always willing to lend an ear or offer advice, guided by her favorite saying, “If you are going to be stubborn, be stubborn for the right reasons.”
She is survived by her three children: eldest son John Buckland and wife Kimberly, with children Abigail and Carter Buckland; second son Terry Dearing Jr and wife Brittany, with children Kaitlyn, Carson, Connor, Kennedy, and Colton; and daughter Rebekah Delabre and husband Christopher, with children Phillip and Adaline. Kirsten is predeceased by her brother John Paul Jensen, her father Erling Jensen, and her mother Molly Jensen.
Kirsten Harmon will be remembered for her devotion to the Lord, generosity, and the love she shared with everyone around her. Her legacy of kindness and spiritual wisdom will continue to inspire those who knew her.
A Celebration of Kirsten's Life will take place on Sunday, February 1, 2026 from 12:00PM to 3:00PM at Marengo-Union Funeral Home, 505 E. Grant Highway, Marengo, Illinois.
