Marie Ida Krueger

Marie Ida Krueger, born February 26th, 1925 in Addison, Illinois to William and Amanda Bockelmann. The youngest of eight children, Marie attended Zion Lutheran Grade School in Bensenville, Illinois. She was baptized on March 15th, 1925, and confirmed in St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Addison, Illinois on April 2nd, 1939. On April 4th, 1946 she married Wilbert Krueger in Addison, Illinois. Marie was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Bensenville, Illinois, St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Schaumburg, Illinois, and St. John's Lutheran Church in Union, Illinois.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 2008, her son Roy E. Krueger in 2003, her brothers, Christian, Otto, Helmuth, Martin and Fritz, her sisters Malinda Nordbrock and Bertha Braun, and her special friend Ernest Wilson.

She is survived by her son, Raymond (Nancy), her grandsons Scott (Marie), Niklas (Cindy) and Jason, her granddaughter Carren (Keith) Brown, her great grandchildren Helen, Norman, Irene, Margaret, Alexis, Kali and Levi, and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at St John's Lutheran Church, 6821 Main St, Union, IL 60180, on March 27, 2026, from 10am to 11am. The funeral service will follow at 11am.

Memorials may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church in Union, Illinois or to St. Croix Hospice in Rockford, Illinois.
